For a slight while, I was kind of feeling as if Creative Recreation was on it’s way of falling off.  Falling off to end up in our friendly neighborhood Payless or the uplifting and “I succeeded in life” feeling aisles at the Big K.  Luckily, the latter will not be the case and instead Spring 2011 will be a chill season and deplete the funds from a lot of dudes that want classy and chill sneaks.  It’s just about time you dump your torn up, piece of shit dunks.

Since the inception of the internet and other forms of instant communication, we’ve been bombarded and exposed to a massive amount of product, clothing and footwear in particular.  The majority of clothing and footwear product, are made in massive factories in some foreign nation.  The end products have no feeling, no heart, no craftsmanship to them, just cold, mass produced shit.  Not to say that some of this “shit” aren’t still cool and bad products, you just don’t get that feeling.  Sak for Converse is looking to change that, simply look at the pictures.  Handmade and top of the line leather makes the $600 that you’ll have to spend for these totally worth it.  You can find these suckers at John Varvatos and Aloha Rag in NYC.

So I was in Miami for the weekend and decided to stop by The Webster Miami.  The first thing that caught my eye right off the bat was these sweet freaking Lanvins.  These were the last pair and the shopkeep was telling me that some rapper just finished buying the same exact sneakers with matching duffle bag.  These sneakers definitely stand out from the crowd, but you’re gonna have to pay for your uniqueness, around 800 or 900 bones.

Now i’m not sure if these sneakers are old news or not, but whatever.  I’m really liking the orange and the plaid-ish sneakers.  Now onto my expedition to find where these 2 babies are hiding.

Ahhh memories……memories of being a whiny bitch ass little kid that couldn’t get these when they were cool and getting neon orange LA Gears instead.
