The Black Keys sound like a mix of The Doors and The White Stripes.  Perfect fucking album,”Brother”, has lots of soul, sweet freaking vocals and perfect kick off with their singles ” Tighten Up ” and “Everlasting Light”.  This is my new favorite band.

Deadmau5 – You Need a Ladder

Leave it to Deadmau5 to always make a sick beat.  BUT recently, he’s been riding the high from “Ghosts and Stuff”, which is a pretty sick track, for much too long.  I think he’s found another major track with this new release.  Sample is sick and I guarantee we’re gonna see another 8,000 remixes from random DJs.  As usual, the quality and the artistry of his beats are above par.  Let’s hope he can follow up this single with a worthy album.  Pretty sweet.

Thinking back to the days of the angry tracks of Eminem and then listening to his new album, you see the kid has come a long way.  Most definitely, this is gonna be a great album for Em.  I went through all the tracks just to find, the one.  The one track that has that effect on a person to drop everything they’re currently doing and just listen.  I found that in track 6 – “Going Through Changes”.  The track was produced by Emile and contains a sick sample from the legendary track “Changes” from Black Sabbath.  Production and the beat is beyond superior, I know we shouldn’t expect less, since Dr. Dre is still on board with Eminem, but given that he’s been out of the main lime light for quite awhile, I was worried that Eminem’s next album or major singles were going to turn into an epic fail.  Thankfully, he’s still on point and we have another pretty sweet album and an awesome effing track 6.

Now we all know that MTV and VH1 have lost their focus, well when it comes to music, being that the only default tv programming they care about is reality shows, it’s pretty shocking when MTV actually introduces you to a cool artist and his/her music.  Now the kid ain’t Ghostface or Nas, but he has a pretty decent flow.  I like to follow artists on a track by track basis, and this track is definitely pretty chill and laid back.  The feature artist Stalley, has a pretty decent flow too.  Lyrics won’t wow you, but like I said, a chill ass track.  I’m going to keep my ears open for the kid and his boy Stalley.

The Temper Trap – Sweet Disposition

I know this track is kind of emotional and shit.  But that said, I can’t deny this asian dude’s freaking talent.  The kid has beyond sick vocals.  Play or skip the track to the hook and you’ll understand what i’m talking about.   This band kind of has that U2-ish and Coldplay-ish feel to them.  Give these dudes a few more years and they’re going to be all over Billboard’s lists, if they’re not already.

David Guetta feat. Kid Cudi – Memories (Bingo Players Remix)

Yeah yeah, I know most of you internet bastards are very anti-fist pump,  but eff it, I’m a beat head and when I hear a pretty ill ass house or hip hop beat, I have to make sure you all hear it.

Big Boi – Shutterbug

Holy shit, I just saw the video for this single.  Siiiiick freaking beat, verses and flow aren’t too bad too, which isn’t really suprising, since it’s coming from Big Boi.  The video was directed by Chris Robinson, so you already know it’s a pretty chill video.   Hopefully this single is just a preview to an ill album, and not just a tease to sell a piece of shit album filled with one ill single.  I’m praying.

La Roux – In For The Kill (Lifelike Remix)

She might not look like the typical industry created, trashy looking, record selling whore, but every single one of her tracks have been getting massive airplay and ill ass reviews.  La Roux’s lyrics, the remixes, the collabos, the beats, etc etc, are fresh and chill as fuck.  The beat for the “Lifelike” remix of “In For The Kill” has an awesome Japanesey swag to it, and add the slight changes to the vocals, you got yourself a pretty chill remix track.  Thank God we got real fucking artists like La Roux, good job Interscope.
