I have a slightly OCD-ish admiration for Supra sneakers.  To add fuel to this admiration fire,  the recent 413 exclusive Supra and Sam Ronson collabo.  I don’t care how much these suckers cost,  the colors combo is perfect, the high toppicity, the whole vibe of these “Columbian cocaine on my feet” is perfect.  Just fucking perfect.  The Samantha Ronson x Supra “Lil’ Red” releases today @ 413 .

I’ve always had a weird devotion towards Supra.  There not insane in design, very basic, but very cool.  The “Society” line-up is old, but the color pair of red and white is sick.  Price around $150.  Not bad for an everyday sneaker that you can fuck up and not care.

Those who know, know that Yves Saint Laurent makes one of the coolest sneakers on the market.  Every season they release collections that are so chill.  The leather on these sneakers are so perfect and soft.  Awesome build, awesome everything.  This, of course, is expected since you’re spending hundreds of dollars on these suckers.  But there’s a shit-load of stuff out there that costs a lot, but don’t truly deliver for what you pay.  Whatever the case,  the tan and the dark brown YSL high tops are fucking sick.

Now, we all know there a massive amount of clothing labels out there, sometimes there stuff is pretty chill, other times, well most of the time, they’re utter garbage, but when a piece of art is seen, it must be exalted among all the others.  I don’t really know much about these, there not at any of the major high end spots yet, nor does maison martin margiela’s site have any relevant information.  I guess the picture kind of gives us all the information we need, soft comfortable leather, sick design, and will cost a shit-load of money when it actually makes it to market.   These sneakers are part of the Maison Martin Margiela AH2010 Collection 22H,  maybe that can help, maybe not.

I’m not too overally fond of converse usually, but today, I scoped a pretty ok extra high top.  The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Cup x-hi comes in only this color combo, made of soft leather, and the best part of all, costs only 80 bones USD.  Not too bad, you can beat the shit out of these at some bar filled with sleazy jump-offs, skating ,or playing ball and not cry like a little bitch.

We’ve all had times when you couldn’t find shit.  Shit like your keys, socks, phone, etc.  You should never, ever lose these suckers, ever.  These bad boys are nasty freaking kicks.  You could light up a parking garage, go off-roading, provide ambient lighting for your back seat and your date for the night, etc.  Anyway, these Creative Recreation LED sneakers were designed by Moritz Waldemeyer for the bullshit probably crappy movie “Step it Up 3D”.  Let’s ignore that fact, and just acknowledge that these sneakers are fucking bugged out.  Side note – their not for sale.

So I got to take a look at Fujiwara’s Fall 2010 lineup and wasn’t too impressed.  Kind of looked like Fujiwara was trying waaay too hard to look different from the rest of the high top crowd.  So I took a look back at Summer 2010, and I was pretty impressed.  These sneakers actually had the cool vibe to them,  looked pretty comfortable, and was a cool super high top.  Plus it didn’t lose it’s originating essence, being a sneaker.  Fall 2010 is a totally different story, losing all semblance to a sneaker and looking totally retarded and unplanned.  The sneaker looked as if the designed took a bunch of  fabric, jammed it together and didn’t feel like finishing the job.  Buy Giuliano Fujiwara’s summer 2010 high tops, avoid their fall 2010 line-up at all costs.  You dropped the ball this season, Fujiwara.

Nothing too spectacular or different next season, Fall 2010, from Supra.  Just some color scheme switches on their current collection’s templates.  The pictures above were the only ones that caught my eye.  Let’s see what the other labels come up with for Fall 2010.
